Welcome to Upper Hurst Farm News Issue 6.

The 2016 season has been another record year for us despite the wet weather. We continue to stay ahead of the game by making improvements and adding to the facilities that we already have and we have actioned many things that our clients requested via the visitors’ book.

There will be a fixed hairdryer in the ladies very soon; plans are in place to put much better goalposts in for the children and improvements to signage in general to help things flow more easily. All of our cleaning products are environmentally friendly and we are replacing many of the fluorescent lights with LEDs.

Our hedges are growing much denser and taller providing further opportunities for biodiversity. This makes the air we breathe here much more potent! We had a photo-shoot this year, which is for the new website and for our Facebook page. This is a much more informal platform and we welcome your interaction and invite you to share your own photographs. This makes for a family and community feel.

For the half term holiday (22-29 October) we have lined up a host of activities to suit adults and children, alike. There will be a drawing workshop, run by renowned local artist, Sandra Rushton, and we will run future workshops next year if there is sufficient interest. Details of the drawing workshop and all our half term events, together with information about our end of season party.

If you have suggestions for activities and events, please email us or contact us on Facebook. If you wish to take part in any of these activities please ask for your tickets when you book your pitch.

As always we look forward to your feedback and look forward to welcoming you to Upper Hurst Farm.

Sue, Sarah & Simon
